After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, I
decided to pursue a career in Machine Learning.
I searched the internet extensively for a suitable bootcamp, but in hindsight, I should have been more careful in my
selection.
Although my first ML class was not terrible, I quickly realized that it was insufficient.
After one month I enrolled in the bootcamp, I purchased the Deep Learning specialization course on Coursera.
The price was reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the lectures and the reputation of deeplearning.ai.

Each course has the test and programming assignments.
This courses consist of 5 series
The first course is ‘Neural Networks and Deep Learning’. Andrew briefly introduces what neural networks are and how they work.
The course was not very time-consuming because I already knew how neural networks work.
The course was informative and helpful, providing knowledge that I couldn’t find on YouTube or blogs.
The shining point of this course was ‘backpropagation’.
Even though I already knew about backpropagation from watching YouTube and reading books, this course provided a deeper understanding.
Andrew’s lecture on back propagation was fantastic.
It was intuitive and helped many people, including myself, understand the principles of calculus.
The second course focuses on enhancing deep neural networks. Andrew teaches about hyperparameters and how to improve the performance of deep neural networks using regularization and optimization. The course provides insight into tuning hyperparameters and utilizing regularization and optimization.
The third course is amusing. It covers structuring machine learning projects and diagnosing errors, with a particular focus on analysing errors.
I learned about the various errors that can occur and how to analyse them to determine the appropriate course of action.
The fourth and fifth courses provide a sneak peek into each specialization. The fourth course covers CV, while the fifth course covers natural language processing.
Both courses are beginner-friendly and provide in-depth knowledge.
I feel that I should have taken these courses earlier than the bootcamp. The course is well-structured, and many people recommend it for those working as data scientists, ML (DP) research engineers, and researchers.
I recommend this specialization. Whatever you want to achieve through this course, I believe you will be satisfied.
